What's with the new trafficlight logo?
@Pickaxe
That is the baddest f*cking podcast vie ever seen.
Go YouTube "double rainbow".
@Pickaxe
Woaaaa! Double Podcast ALL THE WAY! It's starting to look like a TRIPLE PODCAST!!!
@Pickaxe
Engadget's gone happy.
hey guys no engadget show this month or is it gone forever?
@Pickaxe : They smoke weed.
@Pickaxe traffic light? i thought they were rasta colors. it'd be cool if they smoked weed doing this podcast, then i might listen to it.
@oneloveoneworld They did, can't you tell? Nilay clearly has the munchies.
@Pickaxe
This was mentioned by Leo Laporte on TWiG, but LauncherPro is a great app if you just really hate Blur (or whatever other skin you may be using.) I'm using it on my Droid X right now with the Froyo setting and it's definitely worth it until flashing is available for the DX.
@10nisman94 He was busy changing lenses and getting fat eating popcorn, clearly the munchies... you guys seriously rock though, all the way.
It was quite an epic podcast. You can never beat the sad violin though.
"What does this mean?!?!"
@Ryan Deen
A gift for anyone who loves engadget:

Twas a grand podcast
This was a hilarious podcast.
Was a great way to spend my Friday night :)
oh wait :(
it was automagical!
Geeks with no clue talking out of the pie hole. Waste of time.
@Taller oh well let us know when you accomplish something significant in your life.
@keyrol I already did. Now you have been informed of that fact, good luck on your own quest.
You CAN use external hard drives on the Xbox 360 and you can install games to the external HDD or USB flash drive. The problem is that the partitions are only up to 16GB.
O look! engadget came out of the closet.
The double rainbow song was hilarious!!!!
You spent 2 minutes talking about the two most awesome Android phones ever, and 7 minutes talking about iPhone cases? In an 80 minute podcast?
Seriously?
That podcast was hilarious, you guys need to do more of those impromptu pods like the one at midnight that went on for like 2 hours , that was really fun.
Wow really? SNS thats not a typo its social networking site account. Come on Engadget editors think!
Love you Engadget but please don't talk about video games because frankly you don't know what you're talking about not to mention you sound like basement dwelling trolls.
Stick to other tech not video game please and thank you.
What music is played at the beginning of all these podcasts? It's very SNES. Just wondering.
This podcast was awesome. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Never expected the plot twist at the end.
Awesome Podcast! All the way! So intense!! Woooooooooohoo, oh my god!!
So bright, and so vivid!!
Double Rainbow guy in everyday life

Gets a little NSFW at the end, but who works on a Saturday?!
Clearly best podcast to date.
Great podcast as always guys! Loved the star wars bit.
So Intense!!
Josh,
Go for the LX5 - and ditch the interchangeable lenses. I've had a LX3 for years now and its great for fast high quality photo. The 2.0 aperture and image stabilizer enables you to take photos in low light without flash both indoor and outdoor. If you are at a press conference using a flash is no good anyway so the sensitivity and stabilizer of the LX5 comes in handy then. The zoom ratio on the LX3 is a bit low but but LX5 seems to remedy this. However the 10mp also enables you to crop the picture further for the low resolution on-line blog pictures.
Why haven't the makers of the RSS feed sue you guys for coping their sign? I remember you all crying when some store opened up with a similar lookin bunch of f@ggy monochrome rainbows in it.
While I usually enjoy the podcast, the latter half left me disappointed. Engadget has become so Apple centric, at least when it comes to mobile phones. I feel like Engadget tries to cover this up by talking about the Droid, over and over. The Samsung Galaxy S line is amazing and you mentioned it for 2 minutes. Sure, there is a full review up, but there are also many reviews for the iphone but you continue to give it lots of time. I can't believe no one talked about the Galaxy S super AMOLED screen. Come on! It is an AMAZING screen and no one mentioned it in the podcast. You talked about the few minor flukes and your dislike for touchwiz. You failed to mention how great these phones are, and perhaps you left it the screen out because it is better than the iphone screen?
I also think you have this warped view on the general public. I have not heard one person who said iphone 4 doesn't work. Yes, they will talk about the "death grip" and how calls are dropped, but not that the phone sucks and doesn't work. Of course, you have to say that the general public knows less than you because you are the royal court of geeks.
That was splendid. I wish more podcast would be in same spirit. It's like cure for poisoning I get from reading comments section.
1. Jon Rubinstein was probably thinking that he's the shit because he helped create the ipod. Guess what, that was nine years ago. For him to be that smug, is quite silly.
2. Personally, I don't see why it's so hard to put an option to choose stock android or whatever shitty UI they put over it. Based on what i've seen, Sense seems to be the best skin, but still would rather have the option to use stock android.
3. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that the Dell Streak is going to come out with android 1.6 I can't see any angle at which staying with 1.6 benefits them in any way. Soon we'll be seeing Gingerbread phones, and they're still stuck on 1.6. I don't care how fast the phone is, if it doesn't at least have the standard software, i'm not fucking with it.
Other than that, funny podcast. I enjoyed it.
palm should make a 3.7 inch screen with a portrait slider for their next phone.
@Joshua Topolsky
I know what you mean about how ridiculous the news is on their coverage of the iPhone4 antenna and how its become sensationalized to the point that the average person thinks the phone cannot make any calls. BUT apple gets the treatment the other way as well when they do some unimpressive shit like WIFI video calling and people think they invented the smartphone and shower them in praises and compare refer to Mr. Jobs as a deity. Its the double edged sword of being the most popular company in America.
Holy crap that was incredibly funny. When I heard the song I head over to knowyourmeme.com to check out the deal, and oh god it was worth it. So Intense!
