RIM's BlackBerry Curve 9300 spotted in T-Mobile branding (update)
It's certainly not the first time we've seen this here BlackBerry (with "this here" meaning "Curve 9300"), but it's the first time we've seen it outfitted in carrier clothing. Notice that T-Mobile logo at the bottom? That's the clearest indication yet that this particular 'Berry will soon be headed to T-Mob, but given that it's unlikely to support an upgrade to BlackBerry OS 6, your off-the-chart excitement level may indeed be unwarranted. At any rate, we're also hearing that Rogers in Canada will be snagging this at launch, but we'll be passing along official details just as soon as we get them.
Update: As it turns out, this actually isn't the first time we've seen a magenta-scarved Curve 9300, just the one that has us most convinced it's got a date with destiny. Not to mention stateside availability.

@Metacognition
Kinda like every new computer released.
Kinda like every new phone released.
Kinda like every product refresh; amaybe that's why they're called refreshes.
@Metacognition Exept they really don't have any NEW features , just the same features given to you in higher quality, higher MP camera, higher screen resolution, etc.
Ugh. What a completely pointless phone. So, its an 8520 with 3G? It can't be upgraded to 6.0? Why is my company launching this phone?? Why, God!? Why??!
Blackberry's are build on the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality. For now, RIM has quite a high market share, there are lot's of people who like these phones and if your used to a Blackberry you can handle them all!
Now with the problems:
The OS looks old, dusty and it misses tons of features that the competitors all offer. All the phones look the damn same, perhaps some buttons are chrome whereas they are black and soft on others.
The biggest problem, in my opinion, is the continues flow of new models, instead of fine tuning there just released models RIM seems to enjoy releasing a new model every week.
For now, RIM is fine! But I wonder what their market share will look like in 5 years, we will see if RIM can handle the job.
does anyone know the official specs for this phone?
