Why do we have to go through this everytime? Everything apple makes is targeted as certain people.
Mac Pro's are business machines and designed to have a high uptime, WORKSTATION performance, not gaming. Custom rigs are mostly designed for gaming and they sure look more impressive (for your use) but when an entire business depends on one of them i know what id rather have.
Its the same with iPhone vs Droid. The iPhone is targeted at the average user (not most of us) and the Droid is targetted at a more power user. But they are both usable in each persons world fine.
I'm on a custom rig PC for gaming, iPad for school, Macbook Pro for school. My mum has an iMac, dad custom built pc. Its just what we are using it for. Don't show a brand loyalty, its what they feed on. If you own allot of one brand it doesnt make you a fanboy, the fact is they should be making what you need in a machine.
Please don't flame without reading the whole thing over properly.
WTF 4,999? I could buy two or three labtops with that price tag or a big screen tv. Is it because of the processor or the number of hard drives it have in it's bay? Or I could buy a new car with that munch money.
I just ordered two Mac Pros with two new 27" screens! :-D
I'm going to play with the trackpad at the Apple store and see how that goes. Sweet!!
One of these days!
