Hori's mesmerizing PS3 Slim LCD dock now available for import
Love at first sight may be debatable, but we had a feeling we'd be into Hori's PS3 Slim LCD dock just as soon as we laid eyes on it. A few months after first appearing overseas, the simplistic device -- which mounts an 11.6-inch LCD atop your PlayStation 3 Slim console -- is ready to be imported into these great States of America. Play-Asia is coming through in the clutch once more, offering the gizmo to those situated far, far from the Land of the Rising Sun for $259.90. It's in stock and ready to ship within 24 hours, so we'd get it on it if you were planning to get on it. Just sayin'. [Thanks, Craig]

It's cool if you wanna sit close to your system and play.
This reminds me of those Sega Genesis add-ons.... but to the EXTREME
Great! Now I don't need to worry about losing precious gaming time when I need to use the toilet!
... and I'm sure I can think of some other practical uses... any minute now...
@TheRealCJ: Are you implying you don't have a television and system in your bathroom?
@Squalor HAHAHAHA
Well, I have a seperate bog, which is rather too small for a tv
@TheRealCJ How about driving 5 hrs to sit in your tent and play LittleBigPlanet while you camp?
Good for a long bus ride. Now of they only made some portable generators for those cell processors
No thank you. Only I mount my PS3.
@Squalor HAHAHAHA
only way id get one is if i had kids for those long boring car trips then again i'd get a wii for kids and keep this one for me
this thing will replace the PSP
@pears I call it the PS3P but it's not quite pocketable
hook it up to a portable generator and you got yourself a nice mobile gaming device.
Remember back to PS1 days when you were the cool kid if you had that minuscule 5" screen add-on? I remember playing split-screen on that as well. "The times, they are a-changin'..."
@Rambo
Don't remember that.
But I did grow up in an alternate universe.
@Rambo And how. I also remember going to Toys R Us in the summertime of '99 to play the then not released Sega Dreamcast. Such a jiggy time.
Oh my! How I remember those bygone days!
Hmmm....as there are no portable BLU-RAY Players yet.....this is intriguing.
@GoonieGooGoo I thought that too
but this one can also stream netflix so hhella-uber-cool
Hopefully this thing will be better than that shitty screen I had one my Ps2, one day the damn thing just died on me.
They should make these for desktop computers. Wait a minute . . .
@jamo23 I know right
wait a minute that's what those fancy lightweight desks are for
Now people are gonna be playing Call of Duty in the airport... What has the world come to?
Interesting. What would Ben Heck think?
I'll wait until Ben Heck mods it.
Speaking of strange screen devices. Anyone remember that click-on magnifying glass that they had for the Nintendo Gameboy? lol
@dec I still hv 2 of those
