Honestly, no. Not when you have to shell out for the device and every single subsequent book. I'd much rather read Engadget and online magazines/blogs.
@Programmer Just finished reading A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking.
Most AMAZING book ever.
This is the first book I've read in 10 years. I was all about reading blogs and whatnot too. Blogs are great for quick bits of info, but only a well-written book can *truly* educate you.
I've been itching for a kindle for a while... I might pull the trigger on this once it launches... -Taylor
If you don't enjoy a really good book then move along, this isn't for you. If you do, this is probably the most comfortable way to tear through the pages.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
People still read books?
@Programmer The Kindle ENCOURAGES them to read books.

@Programmer
If it could browse the web, I'd be stoked right about now.
@Plazmic Flame
It can on its experimental browser.
@Plazmic Flame "inclusion of an "experimental" Webkit-based browser."
@Programmer
I can't imagine going through life not reading books--and actually boasting about it without a hint of shame.
@rackdude & @DanMan
Thanks for pointing that out guys, I did read that but it is "experimental".... still needs to be seen.

@Programmer
Do idiots still ask that question?
@almo
Do I need to explain to you the difference between a blog and a book?
@Programmer
I take it you're not really a programmer...
@Taylor Yes Taylor Ahhh, enlightenment! Welcome to the club!
