What percentage of people are seriously interested in owning and using 3D displays and/or cameras? And in what context? Movies? TV? Gaming? Consumer generated content? Sounds like a good topic for an Engadget survey.
I ask this because I say meh the whole idea of consumer-end 3D. We're still barely scratching the surface on supplying 1080p content. My impression is that the whole 3D "craze" is being driven not by consumer interest, but instead by Asian manufacturers obsessed with one-upping each other.
