Acroban: the childlike robot you want to punch (video)
We see a lot of robots around here. But few can evoke emotion without resorting to a doe-eyed visage or plush, Dough-Boy bodice. That's what makes Acroban so interesting. Dispensing with the cheap parlor tricks, Acroban still comes across as child-like, playful, seemingly dependent upon your care and guidance. Cute, even though it's a quivering mass of aluminum, wire, and servos with a questionable taste in headwear. Doesn't mean you won't punch it in the pie hole now and again just to show it who's boss -- it is a murderous robot after all. See what we mean after the break.

Next-gen battle bots is going to be awesome!
I bet there are two red glowing eyes under that Skynet cameo skin…
I'm scared. This is only the beginning. Next we will have robot police officers then robot soldiers then I will have to lead the resistance in crushing the robot army.
@Dev one
i am not afraid of robot police because :
a) or they are human in the inside
b) or they can't step on a stair (then it could start crying like a baby).
And for robot soldiers, is cheaper a human soldier.
@magallanes
The only problem with your logic is it's short term. I'm thinking long term. How long till a robot army decides to take control? I for one am ready to battle a robot army but are you?
He's more machine now than man.
Is it me, or does the little kid look scared in this video. He must think his dad is trying to replace him with a robot that will never grow old and move out of the house.
Questionable taste in headwear? That hat is pretty cunning. Dontcha think?
won't Skynet look at this video and consider us an "immediate threat"? ...or maybe just get vengeance for humiliating it's grandfather?
The part that freaked me out is when he grabbed its hand and it looked over at him. 1:51 into it.
OMG They're teaching the T-001s how to walk using real babies!
Imagine when they get to the shooting pratice phase!
C3PO had a baby?
