iriver Story Touch edition reader shows up on fan site
It's been a while since we've heard anything from iriver on the e-reader front, so this one isn't a huge surprise. It looks like the Story is getting a nice, compact Touch edition, and while we don't have full specs yet, we do have plenty of photos, and we also know it's going to boast a 6-inch, touchscreen display (which appears to be some type of e-ink), 2GB of internal storage, with SDHC expansion up to 32GB. This one's going to be for the Korean market only, so we don't expect to get our hands on one anytime soon, but we can always dream. Another photo is below, hit the source link for more.

There is something utopian in iRiver, like one or two pure Apple products, such as the current MacBook white. They exceed the sort of aesthetic portrayed in some 1960/70s SciFi movies. 2001 comes to mind.
We're almost there, except for the space babies.
iCryMeARiver. I'll stick to their PMPs.
@Oflife
Call me crazy, but it reminds me of a diper.
Yes, because all my baby nappies are hard, flat and with a big screen on the front.
@TheRealCJ Was referring to the trippy scene at the end of 2001 A Space Odyssey where the huge foetus is floating above the Earth.
And I was replying to uckApple.
Cool Story, bro's at iRiver. But c'mon guys, new DAP's please!
I think not many people know that iRiver is the first company that made mp3player.... iPod is not the first mp3 in the world..
Actually, of you want to get really technical, Creative was making mp3 players a while before iRiver.
@TheRealCJ Diamond had a player out before either company. And Eiger Labs had one out before Diamond...
@proppat Quick wikipedia shows: Audio Highway was the first.
Silly people, just wiki it.
Not a fan of the all white, but that is pretty much what I'm looking for in an e-reader. Smaller, touch screen and simple design.
I know, I really like it but it's about the only type of gadget I wouldn't import, just because it's not made for Roman characters!
clix 3 please
