Finally! What took you guys so long? ;)
@hq oh boy, I can watch this now..... or I can just wait till I leave work and watch it on my EVO with Froyo and flash ...**yawwn** what a long Friday...
@hq Yeah I'm surprised this took a couple days.
I was there, it was a ton of fun. There should be a question segment though, there's no participation from the audience for guests or the editors themselves.
Also...4 giveaways? 4 shirts and 4 headphones bundled together to the same 4 people? Come on. Giving away the Xbox was pretty awesome though. It's nice that 5 people out of the 300+ received the "tons of giveaways"
I was able to catch a bit of the live stream yesterday when they showed the Blackberry Torch and then WP7.... gotta say, WP7 is pretty sweet. Also, even though that's a prototype device, it's so ridiculously responsive, even better than the iPhone.
There's a part where Josh seems to try and mess around with the device, swiping left and right to try and see if the device will slow down but it keeps up very well. Looking forward to hardware now though with WP7.
I hope someone makes a 4 inch device and that we won't be using small devices like the prototype.
@hq
Probably the 5 minutes of Peter Molyneus going "mmmm mmm mmmm mmmm"
@hq the windows 7 portion was short, but i love this show. your humor reminds me of conan obrien. very nerdy that only nerds can understand.
@hq Why cant I watch the video from my iPhone :(
@Plazmic Flame I'm not sure win phone 7 is faster than iphone 4, looks very close.
Is this the first time a video has been playable from the home page post?
@rmbrown09 i think it is. don't think i've seen it this way before..
I wish I knew that the doors would lock once the show started... I gave my box of Lucky Charms to a homeless-man. He looked happy.
@GrimPanda
+1
'twas a lucky and charmed show. muchos gracias, engadget!!
Much thanks to the team at Engadget I love this show and enjoy it a lot. I haven't seen this episode yet but I hope Josh did he's impression of a forum troll again, flailing arms and all.
@tobsmonster2
I love pauls videos this and the kin video were hilarious.
I vote that the other Engadget editors should get a chance to be on the show also. Let us meet ALL the hard working people who give our lives meaning. :)
I predict the Josh T. will have his own TV show in a few years. (Nice suit playa!) :)
"I've heard if Tandy" Clap clap clap
"I've heard of a floppy disc" Clap clap clap
It's like an IT show for seals so far
Bit disappointed that the Bullfrog era just got skimmed over...
If you go to 43:45 you can hear me saying "You are holding it wrong".
But i believe the problem with the browser was that they where on ATT 3G and inside the auditorium there is almost no signal.
Yay! Love your shows
Oh, and can you please make a low-fi version. 700MB is a fair chunk of my bandwidth!
@cjschris Bam! Enjoy: http://podcasts.aolcdn.com/engadget/videos/show/engadget_show_011_160.mp4
@Chad Mumm
Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for!
Knew that music sounded familiar, goooo Zen Albatross
Mmmm,Mmmmmmmm,mmmmmmm. am i the only one that noticed he kept doing that?
@thefrataline
I thought I was the only one! Every damn second, Peter would be like mm mmm mmmm mmmm mmmmhm mmm!
Why has the engadget show started playing on Wednesday instead of Saturday? I'm not in NYC on Wednesday but I am on Saturday! Change it back!
IE Mobile a hybrid of IE8 and IE9? was that a slip of the tongue? I thought it was IE7 with parts of IE8
@ChrisSsk I dont know what it is but i hope engadget makes the engadget.com compatible with it, not like what they had done to ie8 and opera
This was the first Engadget Show I've seen and it was great!!!
Peter Molyneux is definitely one of the coolest guys I know of in the gaming space right now. He seems really sincere and genuinely thrilled to be thinking up and talking about new and cool ideas. I only had one gripe about the show, though. As much as I usually enjoy Josh on the podcast, I really wish he could avoid interrupting or going off topic so much when interviewing. Aside from that, great show!
Joshua Topolsky- 22:35
"And he (Milo) also can hand stuff to you"
um.... Explain to me how that works....
I don't get pic #5...
Great show guys you made my morning
Great show guys , keep up the good work !
+1 J. Topolsky deserves a tv show .
Awesome...and I really can't get enough of Molyneux talking about stuff.
Wow Nilay looks nothing like he sounds.
Josh, go back to your "Shabby Chic" clothes. A suit doesn't suit you.
You look better slightly disheveled.
no i get to put a face to Nilay .....looks like he need to eat more apples.
WOW that music is annoying ... and that guy rocking to the music like he's a real DJ is just ... sad.
Seriously? I have 3 days remaining on my download? Not that I'm suprised. I've never had an engadget show download properly on the first try. Usually it cuts off after 100MB or so.
CAN WE GET A TORRENT???? Or proper hosting might help.
What a great show! Very funny :D.
I wish you guys could do a quick show of the samsung wave.
After seeing the blackberry its awfull and for what you get in the samsung wave most people would be blown away! its half the price aswell!
The speed, the screen, the audio quality, aliminium build. ect ect
who's the dude in the first photo?
@dkeats That's Chad!
@Joshua Topolsky
Hot!
alot coming out about this milo of recently,i am suprised how much josh got out of em ,in some of the other interviews he also in fact mented the room demos ,milo and kinnect are just part of it,,this bigger game thats ,as room is like 5 years+ old now,,now if milo,kinnect and the room (tech)if you look the room and milo demo the rooms do seem to be running on a simliar engine and it seems they are connected what the hell is peter molyneux making ? is the question?
Wait, go back to the Milo mind..
Why the hell did you cut Molyneux off in the middle of him showing off some cool features just so you could sit around a table and circle jerk over some crappy gadgets, i could have watched Molyneux for the full hour and twenty minutes, i cant stand 5 mins of you idiots.

oops thought it wouldnt allow me to post because of the idiots, my original comments stand, i dont find you people funny in the slightest. Also stop interrupting people when they are trying to speak its not big or clever.
