So what's the fast focus for? Does anyone shooting on a RED ever actually use auto focus? Doesn't exactly seem like a pro feature to me.

@Bashthebox It is sold as a hybrid Still/Video camera like the 5D/7D, except RED is much more of a "video" company.

@Bashthebox They are calling the Scarlet & Epic "Digital Still and Motion Cameras" or DSMC. Both of those devices have the DSLR-like side adapters.
