@Dusse No because when you jailbreak you can download a fix thru Cydia that will prevent anyone else from using the exploit you just used to jailbreak your phone.
@Dusse Well yes, but that's par for the course. I think the benefits of jailbreaking far outweigh the downsides of opening a malicious PDF, common sense would dictate that you only open one from a trusted source, thus negating the dangers.
@LJKelley yea pdf warning even on normal apps like the metro newspaper might be a small inconvienence but worth it if some bad guy does try to exploit it.
@fingers Can you point to the patch? There is a Cydia-linked utility called PDF Warner that notifies you when a web site want to download a PDF but it doesn't actually patch the vulnerability as far as I can see. Cydia seems to be slow right now (surprise). There is also an update to UltraSn0w (1.1-1) for unlocking after JB.
Following the commercial success (and technical disappointment) of the original Wildfire -- which featured a miserly 528MHz CPU and QVGA display -- HTC has returned with the Wildfire S.

Solution, don't update. I doubt the Dev Team will waste another exploit on such a minor update.
@fingers Would mean that you are vulnerable for eventual exploits of this stuff though.

And as LJKelley pointed out you can patch the exploit post vulnerabilty, so the danger is null and void.
