It's about 3pm Eastern time and I still haven't received mine. What is the "Check for system updates" feature even for? It seems like it goes straight to "Your system is currently up to date" by default.
Does anyone know how to get better placement on the list of OTA updates for next time?
@mjshuster1 Yea, the check for system updates feature seems useless. If you find a way to raise your placement status for OTA updates, please share it with me.
Finally! Froyo Build FRG01B hit my Droid handset this AM, Thursday, August 19th. I must be toward the very bottom of the distribution list.
Got the update Saturday. Seems like it had to burn in a bit - Droid was noticably slower at first, but now has caught up to former speed. Everything seems to work fine except Swype. Anybody else notice speed issues? And how to get Swype working again?
I got my update today but it totally froze my phone. It wont turn on after the motorola sign no matter what i try. Is anyone else having this problem?
I got my update this morning Friday Aug. 20. It seems like it is working fine. It took about 10 minutes to self-cycle through the update.
