Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige Edition ships with full-blown RC spy vehicle
We tell ya, these game bundles are getting completely out of hand... and we love it. If you reckoned that Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition bundle was hot stuff, wait till you get a load of this. Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige Edition (promo video beyond the break) just went up for pre-order at select retailers in the US, and if we had to guess, we'd surmise that every last one of 'em will claimed in just a few hours. Aside from getting a beastly box, the game itself and some sort of medal, the package also includes a fully functional RC spy car, complete with a camera that sends back video and audio to the owner's LCD-equipped controller. There's absolutely no telling what the MSRP on this thing will be, but our comrades over at Joystiq are pegging it at $149.99. Mom, dad -- go ahead and add this to our holiday wish list.

Hacker's dream!
I have the Australian price: $228 AUD, EB Games exclusive.
Although, I note that once AGAIN, there's only console love. Fucking Activision
@Hugoneus
I think i'll wait to see what Respawn comes out with.. Call of Duty has gotten pretty old now. It's the same game with a tweak or two every year just like Madden. And Treyarch has never really impressed me that much anyway.
@Hugoneus
no a hacker would made it himself
@Hugoneus : I don't want a f'ing RC car! Did they improve the hack detection????? (I gave up playing MW2 because of that BS!)
@elijahblake
I'm a MW2 fan in the same way Jeep fans like their jeeps, they know what they like and they don't want you to change it too much, just make it a little better each time and we'll be stoked, and if you want to do something radical, make a different jeep/car & call it the Patriot (fail) but don't touch my jeep/game!
@Hugoneus
hey darren smurph, shouldnt this qualify as a tyco rc knockoff by your logic????? or is that only when products come from certain countries?????
@Gobot Gotta love your Jeep.. 2001 Sahara owner here.
@elijahblake If you look at what Treyarch did for COD 3 versus World at War you see them drop their whole style altogether and just start tweaking the Modern Warfare formula. I personally think it would have been better if they stuck to their own style and just developed it much further to keep things more diverse.
@Hugoneus Forget about RC cars, I only have one question:
WHEN?!
@Hugoneus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ddSlUJBNi8
HAH! JasoN!
@Juggernaut408 Do we get the Jason action figure, too?
@The Madman
Jason Vorhees sold separately
This one may actually be worth 150 bucks
Sounds better than the night vision.
@Diggler sounds better, but isn't.. The goggles actually work! It also looks nice on my shelf. You want an RC car, get a real one like a RC10-T or something Gas like a Traxxas..
is C4 included with the RC car?
@Thai69
Classy pic you've got there little Jimmy.
I'm such a dufus. I JUST figured out that today is Friday the 13th. Thanks, Engadget, for feeding my superstitions! (I HEART JASON)
@MrScottFletcher No worries, it took me two google searches of "why is Jason Vorhees on engadget" before I wiki'ed jason and was suddenly reminded the name of the movie matches today Friday the 13th
Does no one else notice the Zombie!?
@pointblank87 Nope. All I see is an R/C car, game, some other crap, and Jason
I could have really used something like this when I was living in the co-ed dorm in college.
@admlshake You just gave me ideas... No im kidding
lets install something usefull on it like maybe a screwdriver or something ~~
@kiyu727 How about a minigun?
@Diggler
Isn't it supposed to spy ? Minigun ain't quiet ;)
You're probably referring to the video where they used c4 against the sniper.
Is this r/c car had 4wd or 2wd?
idk about that truck. Considering decent rc trucks cost at least twice than that one, I think the one they're including might be able to rival a toysrus truck. Have fun with that. Guess anything to sell they're game.
I hope this is better than MW2, somehow :(
@Zeek Balder
have you ever seen Treyarch make a better game than Infinity Ward?
What's next? Adult's game with a free hooker? I bet that will sell even more!
Idk about it, I might stick with mw2
@ivanova1011 "Might"?? I WILL stick with MWII.. I'll pass on Infinity Ward aka Respawn Code with Trearch polish, thank you.
I think it's going to be crap. I bet the video is going to be worse than 320 x 480 and the camera might be in black and white. The truck might be slow. I'll wait for the reviews on this ..
Not to be dense, but is this a new installment in the series or the existing COD MW2 with toys and fancy packaging?
I'm sucker for race cars. YepYepYep. I'm getting it!
pre-ordered mine in amazon 149.99
@REDgadget
Me too!
Great!

Spy in girl locker room
I just cannot get excited for this game at all, dont know why.
This is the best special edition I have EVER seen!
I have to keep remembering I'm at work and keep both hands on the keyboard ;)
UK Pre-order price is £129.99 from GAME
Looks cool but I doubt I'll actually play around with the Rc car. I'll just get the hardened edition and save that extra $70 towards another game, maybe GT5 or sumtin. Does anyone know if any other retailer is offering an exclusive pre order deal besides Game Stop? That flight suit they offer is ok just wondering if anything else is out there. (via EVO)
I want.... but I get the feeling someone is going to have the cops called on them because of this.
