SNAP for iOS gives you The Power... to appraise your Facebook privacy
SNAP (Social Network Analyzer for Privacy) by BIT Systems does one thing, and one thing only: it looks at your Facebook profile and then "grades you on how visible you are to the outside world." Of course, you can always just go into Facebook itself and look at your privacy settings, which would save you the steps of downloading an app and using it to login to your account, but at least the thing is free. And it does provide a handy and thorough tutorial on Facebook privacy in general. Hit the source link to take it for a spin.

It would be funny if we found out that this app actually gets private information (to sell to other companies) from your Facebook profile...
Depends on if you consider random spam emails advertising penis enhancement humorous
@MattsZ Yeah, these always make me cry... :/
@MattsZ Huh? I thought those penis enhancement emails were targeted to me...
@kornfan That would make it... just like facebook.
@grub
Whoa, what kind of pictures do YOU have on your Facebook?
@kornfan Why did they make this an app and not just a website that everyone could use? I am pretty sure they would get a lot more users by making a full on, browser-accessible test site with a separate mobile interface.
@NikAmi Do they use iAds/Admob to make $$$?

Like Facebook itself does, you mean?
Give your login details to a free app there to protect your privacy? Sounds a bit fishy to me.
@fais It uses Facebook Connect so you're not entering your login credentials to the application.
this app is holding my facebook profile wrong way
I better have it check my online bank security too!
@tcc3 Haha, see also: http://howsecureismypassword.net/
John Doe? Prison break? Is this something from The Company?
If it doesn't automatically lower your grade for entering your login information into a random app, it failed. =P
oh snap!
Do you really want a secure profile on facebook? Well then, it's simple: don't have an account on facebook.
Maybe I should make an app that just tells a user to delete their account...
@GdgtMan Right, since people don't use Facebook to just connect with people they know and don't want random people they don't know to be looking at their wall, photos, etc.
While the App is kind of useless I could see someone using it to make sure they didn't miss any privacy settings.. Although, I'm not sure how many people would be comfortable with putting their login information in there.
Don't download. There is a coded script that does use your Lyon info and spies on your Facebook activity which is then given to the Democrats to take away more freedoms and become as sad as Russia! Don't do it!
the phone in the screenshot has no service, just sayin'.
@stefmart
Nothing gets past you, eh?
Tried it and kept on crashing every time used
@Hfva Keep trying, it works eventually
The only thing I hate about the separate Friends lists is that if you default posts to only show to 1 group, none of the other groups even see your wall. i wish it'd show everyone the wall, but only the posts for that particular group.
in this case i don't think you can average the score. i think you would have to go with the lowest score because that is your weakest link. the score should be an F. similar to the windows index scoring
I have my wall disabled and photos are friends only. Yet it gives me a "B" in both those categories - WHAT?
I've got 100% Facebook privacy. I wouldn't use it if you paid me.
It found that several of my videos were available to Everyone. After fixing them, my profile rated A. I already knew I had it locked down pretty well, glad it found the videos.
I could swear there was a bookmarklet that does this better?
Gotta love it. Facebook and "Privacy Settings" in the same sentence.
You couldn't make this stuff up.
Put your lives online...spill your guts so you're easier to sell to, manipulate and silence.
Lol, no signal.
