@dan991199 My god dan991199, would you prefer a pointless Apple story?!?
Actually, this is good tech news. It is a follow-up, an actual test. Sure pen and paper technology isn't the geekfest of the smartphone drama, but it is new tech.
I say, thanks for the follow up. Now I know not to believe the claims on this product.
@dan991199 Considering the number of comments on this post already, I think there are people who are interested in reading this. I think the editors are even obligated to have this article considering they already had an article about the pens that was full of praise.
@dan991199 I think it's interesting. Not all gadgets and tech are cell phones and computers. Some of us are interested in the whole world of tech and innovation.
Ha. Apple stories aren't pointless as a TON of people use their devices. There really isn't a pointless Apple story. The reason there are so many is that so many use their products and it brings hits to Engadget. You are dense not to realize this.
Not that I really care, but I don't understand why something like Adobe Photoshop Express story gets thrown on to Engadget Alt and a review of a pen is on Engadget??
The Cobra Tag may help you win that losing battle, acting as a Bluetooth device that attaches to your key ring and connects to your phone, it gives you the opportunity to find the missing item if it's less than 30 feet away.

you poor soul, i bet you want attention down in hell?! :P
@Anatidae
Actually this is terrible tech news, this should be an evaluation and comparison, not a finger-pointing session.
How does it write/erase/smudge/last?...as compared to an erasable ballpoint, or even.....A PENCIL!
Just because the product doesn't live up to it's claims, doesn't mean Engadget shouldn't either.
