Nothing like a little competition in the morning, eh? Just days after the Foolography Unleashed Bluetooth geotagging family hit the scene, in flies GiSTEQ with a mildly tweaked PhotoTrackr Plus (RT90, compared to last year's RT10). The only major difference with this guy is its list of compatible cameras -- Nikon's D90, D3100, D5000, and D7000 are now supported. It's still a two-piece solution, which requires users to plug one end directly onto the camera, but it touts near-instant bootup, low power consumption and the incredible ability of making far-fetched dreams come true. And by "far-fetched dreams," we mean "help you remember where your photos were taken." It's available now for $179 if you're memory's fading faster than ever before.

When the original PhotoTrackr Plus was released, photography enthusiasts cheered, as they were finally able to get their hands on an affordable DSLR geotagging solution. Due to the overwhelming demand, GiSTEQ is now announcing their newest item, which is compatible with the popular Nikon D90, along with Nikon D5000, D3100 and D7000. The PhotoTrackr Plus RT90, can be found online at: http://www.gisteq.com/plus/.

The PhotoTrackr Plus was created to allow both amateur and professional photographers to be able to get their hands on a DSLR geotagging solution that fit their Nikon. This geotagging solution was much different than any other piece of equipment offered before it was created. Unlike the competitors' solutions, it was ready to work the instant that a photographer wanted it to, requiring nearly no warm-up time, and consumed less battery power as well. It also works using the accessory terminal only, allowing photographers to have access to their accessory shoe so that they can use their flash if they wish to. But perhaps the biggest thing that the PhotoTrackr Plus quickly became known for is both its ability to save the last known position even when a satellite signal was not available, and the Bluetooth wireless connection that the product offers.

The PhotoTrackr Plus allows you to geotag photos in both RAW and JPEG format. The GPS data is imported directly into your photo as you take it, so no extra steps are necessary, which speeds up the processing workflow, and there is no extra software needed to run the program, simply plug and play.

After being on the market a very short time, the PhotoTrackr Plus has received a lot of attention, and the Nikon D90 camera users began asking why they were unable to use the PhotoTrackr Plus with their high quality DSLR. The company is now answering their requests.

"We are extremely pleased with how many photography lovers are enjoying our product, and we are striving to provide the PhotoTrackr Plus for all types of DSLR's. The PhotoTrackr Plus RT90 will allow Nikon D90, D5000, D3100 and D7000 users to be able to also experience the joy of being able to geotag their photos." Said Eric Liu, president of GiSTEQ Corp.

The new adapter allows this new PhotoTrackr Plus to be able to connect with some very popular Nikon D90, D5000, D3100 and D7000. The new PhotoTrackr Plus RT90 still has the same features that photography enthusiasts have come to love in the original PhotoTrackr Plus.
