Mobilicity starts carrying Samsung mobile phones
Toronto, ON - March 24, 2011 - Committed to providing Canadians with affordable, quality devices to use on its unlimited 3.5G network, Mobilicity today introduced its first Samsung handset, the C414Y.
Today's news marks the first Samsung phone in Mobilicity's handset line-up. "We are delighted to be carrying Samsung products and look forward to launching exciting, new Samsung devices in the months ahead," said Chief Operating Officer Stewart Lyons.
The Samsung C414Y is a robust talk-and-text flip phone designed to provide optimal call quality and an excellent user experience. It is compact and affordably priced at $109.99 for value-conscious Canadians who use talk-and-text technology to stay connected with family and friends in Canada and around the world.
The Samsung C414Y is available at Mobilicity stores and authorized dealers across Canada. Like all Mobilicity devices, it is not sold with a handset tab, credit check, nor does it come with a contract to lock a customer into a multi-year service plan, as is often the case with Canada's incumbent carriers.
Mobilicity carries over 10 name-brand handsets and smartphones, including Android, from the world's leading manufacturers - ensuring it has a quality handset for a wide range of customers. Its current line-up also features the BlackBerry® Bold 9780, BlackBerry® Curve™ 3G, Nexus OneTM by GoogleTM, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, Nokia 5230, LG WinkTM and Motorola SpiceTM.
