Another suite of monitors are ready to grace your desk and decimate your budget. LG has announced four new series of monitors here at CES, all using IPS panels to delivery good viewing angles and 2D to 3D conversion technology that will add some faux depth to your flat images. Top of the line is the DM92, a 27-incher with skinny bezels that's optimized for gaming, though we don't have any important figures like refresh rates and the like. There's a 23-inch DM82 with a "chic and futuristic design" clocking in at 23-inches and offering 7-watt speakers. The DM52 offers 27-inch and 23-inch models with "versatility and efficiency," which we presume means budget pricing, and then there's the D43, "optimized for cinema" with its "Super resolution" upconversion tech.

We don't have full specs so we don't know just how super the pixel density is on that guy or the others, nor pricing, but we'll be updating with pictures and details as soon as we get them. Until then, dig into the press release below for all the marketing speak you crave.

State-of-the-Art IPS Monitors Include Enhanced Features such as Built-in Audio,
Stylish Designs and 3D Technology

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2012 – LG Electronics (LG) today announced an expanded

line of new IPS monitors at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (booth

#8204). LG's four new series of IPS monitors (DM92, DM82, DM52 and D43) offer an

immersive viewing experience with 2D to 3D content conversion, high resolutions and

wide horizontal viewing angles.

"The 2011 IPS monitor line-up shows LG's continued commitment to deliver

innovative products that provide consumers with the most immersive home

entertainment experience possible." said Jay Vandenbree, senior vice president, Home

Entertainment, LG Electronics USA.

The DM92 series showcases a premium design mirroring the slim bezel of LG's design-

driven CINEMA screen and a lustrous chrome stand. Through the monitor TV's

attractive 27-inch class (27.0-inches measured diagonally) display, users can access

files on their PC, play games, or simply kick back and watch their favorite TV shows.

The DM92 series, based on LG's FPR 3D display technology, is optimized for enjoying

exciting 3D content. By incorporating an IPS panel, the DM92 series enables great

depth and more consistent color and brightness at wide viewing angles.

The 23-inch class (23.0-inches measured diagonally) DM82 series exhibits a chic and

futuristic design, employing a metallic neck supported by a square, slim base. The

beautiful images are accompanied by 7-watt built-in speakers, enabling the DM82 to

function as a comprehensive entertainment centerpiece.

The 27- and 23-inch class models (27.0-inches and 23.0-inches measured diagonally)

in the DM52 series offer versatility and efficiency in a flexible package. Combining

immersive 3D with IPS, the DM52 series comes equipped with a range of connectivity

features, such as HDMI and USB, for content-sharing with external devices.

Optimized for CINEMA 3D, LG's D43 monitor offers a host of new technologies and

features that provide bright 3D images as well as SUPER Resolution and vivid colors

through the 3D effect mode. The D43 easily converts 2D content into 3D without any

additional software. A 3D hot key also enables users to easily adjust and control the

depth of 3D images.

LG's new 2012 ISP monitor line-up will be available in the United States and around

the world in the first quarter of 2012.
