Apple's midrange smartphone basically takes the guts of the newly-discontinued iPhone 5 and wraps them in a polycarbonate plastic shell. It may lack the upgraded processor of the iPhone 5s, but the 5c is still tasty enough to earn a 95 gdgt Score. Samsung's Galaxy-branded tablet doesn't induce the same squeals of delight as its smartphone line, but the Note 10.1 is still a solid performer.
