Amazon Kindle Fire HDX (7-inch) teardown finds few easily repairable parts

We hope you weren't planning to repair the 7-inch Kindle Fire HDX yourself; a new iFixit teardown has revealed that Amazon's tablet isn't very serviceable. While it's easy to replace minor components like the headphone jack, major elements are fused together. You'll have to remove the motherboard to replace the battery, for instance.
