Resident Evil hits PS4, Xbox One, more on January 20

The re-release of Resident Evil, upgraded for modern consoles, is scheduled to launch digitally in North America on January 20 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. It will cost $20.

This is the "definitive version" of 2002's Resident Evil, and the Xbox One and PS4 versions will both run at 1080p. Some of the environments will be polygonal, as opposed to the original's backgrounds of flat images and videos. Players will be able to choose between classic and modern control schemes.
