The Lifebook E8020, Fujitsu's first Sonoma-powered laptop
We hit up a bunch of new Sonoma-powered laptops yesterday, but we got tipped off to another straggler sporting
Intel's next-generation Centrino chipset, Fujitsu's new Lifebook E8020. Similar to all those other ones we've mentioned
from Sony,
BenQ,
Dell,
Acer,
Samsung,
Toshiba, and
IBM, the E8020 rocks Intel's Pentium M processor (in
1.73GHz, 2.0GHz, and 2.13GHz flavors), up to 2GB of 533MHz DDR2 RAM, up to an 80GB hard drive, a 15.1-inch LCD screen,
an optional ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600 64MB graphics card, and built-in 802.11a/b/g WiFi.
P.S. - We're issuing a PDF warning on the link.
[Thanks, Dan]

Is it just me or is HP the only major vendor not to announce a new sonoma based laptop ?
BTW: Any guesses when the DELL D610 is going to be released ?

I own this laptop and it has really nice features and lots of interfaces (ports). However, it appears to have a fan bug similar to that of the IBM T4x series in that the fan is constantly running after using the laptop for a while. The fan is running just slowly when the laptop is not stressed but it is running and is definitely loud enough to be very annoying.
