After purchasing the R4 a month ago, using on another vacation/business trip to Europe, and impressing investors and gypisies alike, I decided to buy the T4 for my wife. :)These Panasonics are really fantastic! (Now if I could only get Mac OSX for Intel on it. In a year or two perhaps.)I only wish the W4 (the one with the built-in DVD-RW) had the same battery life as the T4 and the R4. See the units here:

http://www.kemplar.com/panasonic_w4.php See the significant drop in battery life from the W4 to the T4. Pretty big difference. Now, the question is: "Does the optical drive REALLY suck up that much power? In this day and age?" ANy thoughts as to why?
The Chromebooks are here, starting with Samsung's Series 5, a cute little number that promises instant-on access, 3G connectivity, and long enough battery life to web surf with the best of 'em.
