Sharp introduces three new AQUOS LCD TVs
Sharp introduced a couple of new AQUOS LCD TVs today, available (as you've probably guessed by
now) in 22, 26, and 45-inch varieties. Detailed specs are a bit hard to come by but it looks like the 26 and
45-inch models are both HDMI compatible and have a resolution for 1920x1080. Akihabara News also says the the top
end model will cost 4700 EUR, or just over $6,000.

Thank God. I've been dying to get the 45 inch one for 4 months now. Hopefully that model will drop significantly from its $7000 Best Buy price tag or its $5000 PC Mall price tag. Anyone know where to find the best deals on these things?
In Akihabara?
I would check pricegrabber.com for the best prices.

Akihabara News mis-read the press release. Only the 45" model has a "full-spec Hi-Vision panel" with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The other 2 models have lower resolutions - the 26" model is "Hi-Vision compatible" with a res of 1366 x 768 and the 22" model is just a standard widescreen panel with a resolution of 854 x 480. is there any difference between this new Sharp 45" lcd and the LC45dg6U? Will the new one have 1080p inputs?
