Can't tell you how we got our hands on this image, but what you're looking at is a real live shot of the Xbox 360 that someone sneakily snapped with their cameraphone at Microsoft's Xbox360 Revealed launch party in Los Angeles last night. Also note the presence of a hard drive attachment up top, the white controller, the Xbox Live headset, and what looks like that EyeToy-like camera peripheral we've been hearing about.
This product (like so many others) is a waste of the Earths resources.
Hope your bit of fun is worth it, cause your kids and their kids will be paying for it, or are you all so selfish to only care about your own entertainment...

I love xbox just as much as all of you, but in order for it to beat the ps3's sales their going to have to come out with a bigger variety of games. PS2 has a lot more games than xbox, and they are cheaper, even though the graphics aren't as good a lot of people buy the cheaper stuff. That is why ps2 out sold xbox by 50 million. But now that the new xbox 360 is coming out a lot of people will be happy, because they will be able to play the old xbox games on the new one. I read up on this thing on another website and I think it said that you will be able to customize it anyway you want. And there are a lot more online capabilities. Unless sony thinks of something good their going to get their asses kicked.

Moreover, the shape of the controller is a very logical choice; it is optimized for comfort, ease of use and most importantly... performance. I suppose it is good it is white so when you are playing Halo you look at the screen and not the console.

It has 1 processor with 3 3.2 ghz dual threaded cores. A core is essentially a processor and having only 1 processor reduces the amount of heat significantly. Considering that PCs are just now starting to get dual core processors and this is a tri core processor ... yea, it is one of the best sytems in the world if you put it in the PC realm. However, if you compare the CPU to the PS3 Cell processor on pure number crunching capabilities, it loses hands down. BUT, if you compare the 360 SYSTEM (CPU, GPU, memory, etc.) capabilities to the PS3, then I think the 360 wins, but they seem to have basically the same computing power (a whole hell of a lot more power for games than you will see in a PC for a few years). Obviously nobody will know until the sytems are released and developers have a couple of years to work with them to maximize their power.

Its really UGLY and the only reason everyone says it looks like a Mac is because it IS a Mac. PowerPC, ATi, the whole schmere. Plus white looks better than the circus colors that Microsoft uses for their, uh, EVERYTHING...they're only starting to see the light with Longhorn, but it's obviously (as usual) practically a rip of Mac OS X.

Along the lines with everyone else, I think Xbox 360 will be awesome. I personally like Xbox better than PS2 or any other console, but that's also because I got mine for free. I've played PS2 and all the other consoles, but I still like xbox the best.

I was hoping the xbox would come out on top, being a current xbox owner, but it looks as though I'll be picking up a ps3. Go and compare the game demos that are all over the web and you'll see for yourself that the games for the ps3 are much better. I mean really, anyone that has seen the killzone 2 demo knows what I'm talking about, microsoft has nothing like that. In fact, None of the new xbox games look that much better than what's on the current system.

P.S the xbox360 is confirmed to be more powerful already than the ps3, and microsoft will periodically be releasing online updates to imrove the console performance!, compared to Sony giving out a completely stock console, which is unable to upgrade. Yes, ps fanboys, you suck!

The truth is that the Xbox 360 will be more powerful than PCs and any video card you can slap in your Windows system for approximately the next TWO YEARS. This is according to pretty much everybody in the development community. It will take PCs two years to catch up to the XBox 360's gaming power!
What you're not realizing is that the CPU just can't be compared to anything on the home computer front right now. There's nothing like this in computers currently, and certainly nothing that is dedicated to gaming and graphics like the 360 is. If you were to try to assemble a kickass gaming rig PC to compete with the Xbox 360, you wouldn't be able to get to the same level of power, the graphics wouldn't be as good, and the cost would still be about 10 times the cost of an Xbox 360.
Oh yeah. . . And this is going to be connected to a lot of PC monitors, running games in 720p. On a 19" PC monitor, that mean you'll have a 17" widescreen high definition image that runs at a steady framerate, doesn't experience driver problems, and won't crash to the blue screen of death.
At $400 for the premium 360 system, you could spend the same amount for a video card and STILL not be anywhere near the power of the 360. That makes you PC Weenies look like real idiots. Waste MORE money to get LESS performance? Riiight.
So enjoy playing your last-gen games for a couple years. Those of us on the 360 will be gaming with the newest technology, the best framerates, the best graphics, the best game developers, and the most complete online experience available while you're tinkering with keeping your new $500 ATI video card from overheating in your GIGANTIC PC case. Not to mention your PC is going to be a lot noisier than a 360. Dig that fan noise, much? You must.

This new Xbox360 is going to kick ass it comes with so many new accessories (if you got the 400.00 package), it includes a "wireless headset", "Wireless controller", "HD cables", The "console" it self, a "remote controll" the "20 gb harddrive". and the wireless controller and the remote comes with the on/ off button its built in the controller and built int he remote it self, yah this is going to be pretty sweetm and all this comes out in 6 day November 22, 2005!!!!!!. I know that i got the xbox 360 i even got the 400.00 package and i got 2 games and an extra wireless controller for my friends that way they can plzy w/ me. yes i definatly cant wait till this thing comes out!!+

Hmm... The controller isn't that good.
XBox live is good, but the games aren't that great looking either, and don't play next-gen... Not to mention 90% of the games can be bought on all the current consoles cheaper and about 80% as good.
Until better games come out for it.... Learn to admit this console isn't next generation.

Who cares so much about the outside, it's what the system does under the hood that matters ultimately. The exterior is clearly cosmetic.
