Lamborghini and Intel are teaming up on a laptop

All the cool kids car makers have their own laptop line, so Lamborghini is teaming up with Intel to intro a
portable that we hope can improve on the
Ferrari and
Hummer attempts. Not that those weren't
wonderful examples of portable design, but it looks like Lamborghini is going to be doing more than just
slapping their logo on, since they're already buddy buddy with Intel due to their usage of Intel parts inside their
cars. Neither company is in the laptop distribution business so Lamborghini will be selling these lapsters in their
online store next year. CNET Asia is expecting a good bit of next-gen intel chipsets in it which should be fun, and
while the picture to the right is just a doctored pic of a Acer notebook, we'd just like to remind the guys at
Lamborghini product design that this isn't a car mmkay? Like, for instance, we're not really concerned about crumple
zones and roll-over ratings here, it's a freaking computer guys.

You know who will buy this laptop? The guys who already have the Lamborghini jacket, gloves, keychains and sunglasses, and drive early '90's Nissan's that they park 2 blocks away from the Starbucks ;-)
So true. But the Acer Ferrari is a sweet laptop, and hopefully this new one will be as well. I know, spending and extra couple hundred bucks for a branding is kinda silly... but hey, it sure is fun!
It needs a scoop nose and side air vents! WHEELS!! IT NEEDS WHEELS!! How many times have you had to try to push a rubber-grip-bottomed laptop across the table? Ooh, leather keys would be cool (seriously).
How about a Wifi boosting motor driven antenna? The startup chime would be a Lamborghini engine growl. Sexxxy sexxxy.

Ooh, I can wait to see how they implement the scissor doors concept for opening up the laptop...
I’m looking forward to some kind of gull wing design for the display, or maybe the keyboard.
Of course, it needs to be the fastest notebook money can buy IF you keep it tuned to perfection.

So you thnk lambo are cool. Look what they did to the DIABLO. It looked so cool with the pop-up lights etc. five years ago. Now they have the murcielago. It s**ks. look at the ferrari F60, it makes the hair on your arms stand up when you see it in the flesh. same with the ferrari laptop
