Acer launches Core Duo Aspire 5670
The Centrino Duo laptops keep flowing here at CES, and the latest is from Acer: the Aspire 5670. Sporting 1GB of ram, an ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 graphics card, and a 15.4-inch widescreen LCD at 1200x800, the 5670 looks pretty good on specs, and they throw in a built-in 1.3 megapixel rotating camera, mounted on the LCD screen, just for fun. No word on processor speeds, but we're guessing they'll be roughly the range of Intel's new chips, with prices starting at $1500 for these notebooks, which should be available now.

too low res unfortunately. The other high spec acers have 1680x1050 on the 15" models.

I would prefer the acer 8200.

Way low res as #1 said. My 14in widescreen Gateway has a better screen than this 15.4 incher.

The camera stinks by the way. How would I know? Because I have one of these. :P
