Whole lot of Core Duo ASUS laptops going on
ASUS Computer is dropping a world of Core Duo here at CES, with their W2J, A7J, W5F, A6J and V6J laptops all going with the Yonah Centrino chips. On the 17-inch end we have the W2J and A7J, with up to WSXGA resolutions on the W2J. They also rock built-in TV tuners for "a complete fun-entertainment package." For more fun-entertainment you can try the 15-inch A6J or V6J, ranging from XGA to SXGA , or a 15.4-inch WXGA in the A6J series. The 12.1-inch W5F (pictured) rocks the WXGA resolution, along with a a built-in 1.3 megapixel swivel webcam that can rotate 180 degrees. All of these lapsters except for the W5F have the Intel 945PM chipset, which means some added graphics acceleration. Not a lot of info on processor speeds here, but it's all Core Duo Yonah baby, so have no worries. Click on to check the rest of these hotties.

Okay admit it Endgadget. You have no idea what WXGA means in actual resolution! Cuz if you did, you'd be able to translate this verbatim press-release into actual, useful information. :p

This ASUS white laptop with a webcam built it looks awfully like that drawing Apple submitted to patent office some time ago.
I would not be suprised if new Apple iBook (manufactured by ASUS - wink, wink) with Intel processor would turn out to look not dissimilar to the white ASUS laptop shown here.
Apparently they are building the Intel iBook -- this seems like a good sign for a Yonah-based iBook.
They're not releasing a new version of the W3? Or any 14.1" widescreen? I hope so.
I'm looking for a light, thin laptop with a powerful videocard for a few games. The only thing i found close was the Samsung X series, but you can't get them in North America, any suggestions?
Why can't someone hit us up with a 15.4" LCD with WSXGA? Is it that hard?
I still have yet to see a Windows laptop with as much sex factor as my TiBook. Come kiddies, I need a Windows laptop and I need it now.
