The 2005 Engadget Awards: Nominate the Wearable Device of the Year

Nominating is easy. Just leave a comment as you normally would with what you're nominating for this category (remember, comments must be validated!). You don’t have to include your reasons for nominating it or any of that stuff, just leaving the name is fine.
Limit your nominations only to devices that were introduced and sold for the first time in 2005 (which means no concept devices or prototypes, though we will allow updated versions of previous products).
Also, products only need to be nominated once to be in the running, so if you’re planning on suggesting something, please make a quick scan to see if someone’s already beat you to it (i.e., please don't nominate anything more than once!). Thanks!

The Garmin Forerunner 301. The new 305 looks great for this year, but if you are a runner, the 301 was a great device for keeping track of all your stats, and tracking your progress.
Apple IPOD 5G
NHJ VTV-101 Wearable TV Watch
nano, or those motorola/oakley sunglasses headset
The Fleshlight
The Sony eReader does not quite fit into any of the other categories, and this one isn't a good fit either, but as a portable audio and picture player that also can carry all my business documents, (reads PDF, RTF, and Text too!) in the size of an actual paperback, this needs to get some kind of award. The link below shows images that are very reprsentative of the unit I saw on display at CES. The ability to zoom the text, and bookmark the pages was excellent.

The iPod 5G nor the Nano are actually made to be worn. You need to buy accesories to wear them. Also the Fleshlight? Can't get laid? What a pervert.
I guess since these are all like this, I'm gonna say my friend's Vertu phone (I bet your phone doesn't have dedicated concierge service!)
