Samsung X11 laptop brings the Core Duo
Samsung just announced an Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz version of their 4.7-pound X11 laptop. That's a claimed 30%
speed increase for this 14.1-inch WXGA lappie which features 512MB RAM, an 80GB SATA disk, nVIDIA GeForce Go 7400,
802.11a/b/g WiFi, and two integrated SRS WOW virtual surround speakers. Yours for a whistle, and about $1,750 green.

Argh. They got my hopes up with the name. Then I realised this "X11 laptop" probably doesn't come with Unix and X11.

They call it X11 but it comes with Windows, I bet. Just like putte I'm very disappointed. Fortunately for them only geeks know what X11 is, so I'm sure this marketing blunder won't hurt business.

and that was the only reason i followed this link.... I suppose since us geeks know what we are doing it will end up with X11 on it anyway :-)

It's called an X11 because it's a follow-up to the Samsung X10 (an example of which I'm writing this from)
