1st, flash provides no data storage security or recovery, as it is sensitive to magnetic waves, 2nd, flash os and hdd combo are not good sense, as the hdd consumes more power in a stop/start/stop/start cycle than it would when spinning all the time is the case now, 3rd hdd are sensitive to shocks but resistant to bends and presure whereas flash is only resistant to shocks. and last, why extend battery life by sacrificing GB, when you can get an external bat pack that lasts up to 10 hrs, and electricity anywhere in the world. samsung is just using this as a market strategy.
