Stefan Eriksson charged with multiple counts
Guess
whose favorite scandal-ridden carousing ex-gangster party animal Los Angelean Swede just got charged with felony counts
of embezzlement, grand theft auto, driving under the influence, and illegal possession of a firearm by felon? You got
it, Stefan Eriksson. who supposedly faces 14 years in prison,
if found guilty. What, you didn't think someone this shady was going
to go about his business forever more without further question after that fateful evening last
February, did you? Oh, and FYI, the handsome, mysterious Dietrich -- the man accused by Eriksson of driving the $1m
Enzo into the pole at 160mph -- continues to evade capture, despite prosecuters' claims he does not exist. We have just
received word, however, that he was spotted late last week attempting to cross the Canadian border in a Groucho Marx
disguise and Ferrari PowerWheels.
[Thanks, Alex B]
Update: Apparentl Eriksson pleaded not guilty and was held on $5.5m bail. Yo, dudes at Xero Mobile, you wanna help a brother out? Thanks, Freddy.

You'll *never* catch me!!! Muahhhaaahhhaw!
People like this never go to jail. He'll get away with it and will be ripping off some other suckas within six months.
"purdy"
-jackass
I heard Dietrich is also now a prime suspect in the Nicole Brown Simpson/Ronald Goldman murders...
Erikkson is apparently hallucinating and doesn't know the difference between reality and Grand Theft Auto...
GTA: San Andreas may have made the Gizmondo worth buying.
dietrich ate my homework.
This post was worth reading just for the phrase "Los Angelean Swede".
Of course, even if Erikkson is proven to be the driver, he'll be let off the hook. Seeing a rich person get convicted in L.A. is rarer than Jesus' second coming.
should we start taking bets on when this guy is gonna off himself?
Brilliant picture for this article.
HAHAHAHA he deserved it all of us people with gizmondos that got screwed where waiting for this
Lifes good
anyone have specs on the Gizmod?
I've never seen comment after comment with jokes
Nice job guys
He'll get off with a slap on the writst from the federal courts (once he pays them off), but it's the civil charges that will screw him! Think about it: Wasn't it a Scottish bank who held the note on the Enzo he was driving? If memory serves me right, those are VERY expensive, and usually major banks only finance machines like that because of their insane resale value (making it a favourable opportunity to either collect the high interest from the loan, or repossess the car and resell it on the open market).
Currently we have a DUI driver and con-man who's forced a bank out of their pretty property. When moeny goes for money, THEN it gets ugly!
LOL!
Hey Leo (aka comment #8),
I did *not* eat your homework.
Thanks,
Dietrich
How did this guy get into the States anyway? I thought the USA was most unwelcoming of bad people with criminal records. They wouldn't let Mark Thatcher back in once he was convicted - and he's rich as well.
I predict this guy is going to walk.
Hey Dietrich! In comment #16 you say you didn't eat his homework (comment #8). Are you insinuating Stefan Eriksson did?
According to the news this morning his bail was set at $5.5 billion dollars to cover the cost of all the cars involved. They also consider him a flight risk since he bought a ticket to the UK for April 10th.
I understand his DNA was matched to blood found on the Enzo’s airbag. It’s a shame he destroyed such a seriously choice ride.
I saw Dietrich at a Giants game. He had a Doctor's bag with him and he was talking to Barry Bonds.
