Dell's XPS M1210 leaked?

Looks like all you Alienware buyout fear mongers officially need not worry -- for now. According to Notebook Review, the cat's out of the bag and Dell's launching (or is about to launch) their second gaming-centric laptop, but this one's a little easier on the shoulder and presumably also the pocketbook. The XPS M1210 rocks a 12.1-inch widescreen display, Core Duo processor, NVIDIA 7300 or ATI X1300 graphics, dual later DVD burner, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11a/b/g, 5-in-1 media reader, ExpressCard54 slot, up to 4GB RAM, and an optional webcam. Should be out some time in May, but we'll know for sure when we get the official word from the gang at Dell.

My XPS M1210 arrived today. I love it already and can't put it down. Yes - there is no latch to keep the lid down, but it doesn't realy make any difference. The camera is really good and the whole thing is the perfect size - being very tiny. Graphics are excellent and it's very speedy!

I ordered a m1210 last monday, aug 28th. i have yet to get it because dell needs a part still but it will rock the house when it is here. 2.0 Core 2 Duo 667MHz. 1GB 667MHz, 256MB GeForce Go 7400, 120 GB 5400 RPM HD, webcam/mic package, 8x dvdrw, audigy 2 card, a/g wireless card, win media center 2005(first time using that os). also getting a tv tuner w/remote. and of course vista ready. im not sure what part it is that they are waiting on but im guessing it is the CPU cause the new core 2 duos came out that day. we'll see

smith. those few "tests" you did aren't anything. have you benchmarked them; real test. you can't compare pc/dell and apple. both use different software and hardware. its like comparing a motorcycle to a car. both have their cons and both have their pros. you are ignorent if you can't see that. i built my own desktop with xp pro. i reformatted twice and it was because i upgraded HDs. i have never used virus protection on here and download tons and tons from limewire and kazaa. i even spilled a soda in the top fan of my rig and all i had to replace was the mobo but i was gonna upgrade anyway. pcs/xp are very stable. never had a problem unless i provoked it and even then...was no big deal. but i have used apple and they are nice but i grew up with pc so i am used to it.

Hello people ,

Im here to tell you a thing or two about Dell and Apple ok? Dell rocks because they build laptops that last. I have a Dell Inspiron 8100 from 1999. 1.2ghz, 256mb RAM, 40gb HDD etc etc. It flies. Sure you might have to reload windows every couple years but seriously, MAC and their users STAND OFF. Since i bought my Dell i tried Macs i bought a powerbook, ibook and the recent macbook pro. To tell you the truth they were O.K. but no match with my 1999 dell. I mean the Dell's graphics were way better and the macbook gave me burn marks on my legs. OK so look this is a totally non biased opinion. I have tried both ans that is the outcome. SORRY MAC USERS TRY HARDER. By the way i've already ordered this Dell and believe me it rocks!!! I'm hoping it can overtake the 1999 8100 as my sole computer! hehe
