We've gotten a couple reports now of HP Compaq's supposedly internally delayed nc6400 series, but by the looks of the declaration of ISO conformity document outlining certain part numbers on their site, they're drawing close to launch. Supposedly to be equipped with a 14-inch widescreen (which is a departure from their 4:3 nc4200, pictured right), Core Duo processor, dual layer DVD burner, gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g, EV-DO, Bluetooth, and media reader, it sounds like they might be onto something with this one. We'll keep you posted.

Sounds good, but I've never heard of a really good hp Compaq notebook, but maybe this one will change my mind.

I cannot wait til these come out! My entire company is switching from Sony Laptops to HP and we are buying these guys globaly. I cannot wait to replace my V505 with this sucka. Internal Bluetooth, Wifi, thin, core duo, and rock solid support... Man i cannot wait to build an image for these guys.

Rock solid support? We are talking about HP right?

We're getting these at work. They've got a built in security screen a la 3M.

HP Home Support = Garbage
HP Business SupportOne = Kicks major ass
My company has it, next day air for parts, they pay for shipping, it's awesome. I can't wait to see these machines!

I don't think you're comparing this correctly - suspect this is a new member of the NC6xxx family and not from the NC4xxx family. The 6 series is the mainstream which the 4 series is the smaller (think 12" screen).

My work is also testing them and will deploy in July.
