India announces plans to develop robot army

In an announcement that you can probably expect to be repeated by rival Pakistan in the next few days, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has claimed that his South Asian nation will be the latest country to pursue technologies for developing a robotic army. Singh's remarks came during the inauguration of a new building for the Defence Research and Development Organization, and were part of a larger speech outlining the country's future plans for military research, where he also mentioned interest in developing next-gen propulsion, camouflage, and precision guided munitions systems. Unlike South Korea's planned army of killbots (pictured), the Indian program is pretty light on specifics so far, although we do know that the impetus for the project comes from the realization that "trans-national actors and unconventional forces" pose a growing threat when compared to the risk of a traditional inter-state conflict.

NO way India can create a robot army. I will just stay on papers and papers will be filed and those files will just stack up like others. And with this current reservation issue, they r going to reserve seats in scientific research tooo. So just imagine when these robots will be ready with a bunch of OBC morons working on it. and even if they get ready u know what quality it would be. In this case I think i would have been a pakistani than an indian.

I see that both Pakistan and India are ran by corrupt families like the Buttos (PPP) and the congress, that keep the people poor and un educated, so that the poor remain under them. These rulers are very corrupt and try to shift blame. The indian government tells the indian population it is all Pakistans fault. Where as in reality the people are poor because the rulers have been stealing money. The Pakistani goverment tell the people it is the Indian fault where as in reality the rules have been stealing money. Defense contracts have huge kick backs.
They make sure that the divide between the rich and the poor is so large, that the poor can not challenge their authority. Indians and the Pakistanis living in the Middle East, Europe and North America get on with one another. But in India and Pakistan these dictators keep us divided so that it diverts the peoples attention away from the rulers. Kashmiris have been suffering for over 60 years now. Their towns and villages are divided by the line of control and tens of thousands of people have been killed. May be the people of India and Pakistan will see sense when they nuke one another. Then places like Kashmir and Assam may get independence.

There is a programme on TV stating by one GE Head that USA has many specialised domain experts, India doesnt have, this statement includes engineering domain and software domain.
indian software lives on dollar strength and not on hightech people, afterall software is not hightech, its junk work done by key pushers, most people here in idnai doesnt know the calculus basics like why a derivative is used and whats the limit in the derivative is doing, they just blindly mugup. There is one fellow here called IIT Ramaiah lecturer who teaches just limits and he knows only that, and makes students mugup to get entrance to a dirty competitive entrance exams.

Indian software Industry is very dirty and the competition is very dirty,they think they are doing high tech work, they cheat the US companies for projects, and also the salary figures are hidden from the US clients(the one who outsources the projects to India), they say a salary figure of 1lakh and we have MS students as our employees, but tje salary given is just 60K rupees/month and the guys are just BE,MCA graduates, this is how they cheat and remaining money is going into black accounts, thereby decieving the stock holders too. The people think that they do high tech work, but what they do here is just clerical work by typing some code, a code is a format or rule developed by some company and one fellow has to tune it to their end application, for eg Vb or C, also wireles applications like cdma, tdma, etc are not technologies they are just formats and one has to learn each companies format.

Microsoft seem to take over the world by tying up with Intel last time in chip fabrication and certain code protection issues.
Now it wants to launch a TV too which is web enabled. This may include a built in popcorn machine and a soda maker too for the TV viewers. They seem to control the TV, and controlling the Internet with their code and industries with their software, they seem to take over the world....
