Portable Xbox -- no, really!

So, maybe you weren't quite ready to set you lap on fire with that JoyTech LCD portable Xbox 360 setup -- we understand. Might we recommend a slightly more portable way to get your old school Xbox out and about? Hacker extraordinare "Dave" has managed to squeeze that beast into a custom case, along with a battery, screen, and front mounted controls. We can't say we've discovered our new commuting companion, but for sheer leet-ocity, this really takes the cake. We aren't spying a drive bay anywhere on here, so we're guessing this is one those modded Xboxen all the kids are talking about these days. There's even an Ethernet jack for subway LAN parties and other frivolities. Has Ben Heckendorn met his match?

Yea this is really cool he modded it so in reallity you dont need a dvd drive. thats why there is a ethernet jack on it so you can hook it to your computer and ftp games to it all you need is a good sized hard drive in the xbox and a computer with a dvd-rw and you can use this

i think that the XBox portable would be better than PSP,However it would be a few years before i ever get an xbox portable.

What happened to the link? It takes me to a bogus site. I wanted to take a look at some other pics to see if it really compares to the Benheck mod, although it is a fine achievement, I pretty much doubt it.

From the looks of this picture, you can tell it's very innovating in its own way and it definitely was not aiming at the XBox360 laptop mod for competition.

Why wont the corporate guys from this big multinationals ever think to hire some of this geniuses? They do far better work with less $$$ and with just a brain and two hands, as opposed to millions in R&D and 20 engineers crammed in a white and tidy ER-like room that those guys have.

i think x-box should come out with a portiball sectem, that would be cool. nothing fancy to wear it takes tree years to make but somthing cheap and asome lik the psp but beter. like if you get 1 you could have your statis frome your 360 to the sistim, an a hav al of you r friend 2. so somthing like a minime of the 360/ and the first xbox(the oringanol) but portibal.
