Japan's Mouse Computer (MCJ) brings us their latest budget laptop, the LuvBook i1200DW. Sportin' the 1.66GHz Core Duo T2300E, this LuvBook features a 12.1-inch LCD with 1280 x 800 resolution, 512MB of DDR2 memory (2GB max), 60GB disk, dual-layer DVD burner, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, and integrated Intel 945GM Express graphics. And this 24~32-millimeter (0.94~1.26-inch) wedge also packs 4 x USB 2.0 ports, Firewire, modem, multi-format memory card reader, and an ExpressCard slot into that 4.1-pound slab. Nothing really to love here, or hate-on either especially with a price of ¥130,000 (about $1,121) which ain't bad for Core Duo action in Japan. Still with a name like "LuvBook" we were expecting a little fahrvergnügen at the very least.
