Since when is 4.5 lbs ultra portable ? Thats over 2 kilos (i assume excluding the charger). That is far to heavy for people who travel regularly and want to travel with handbagage only.
I have for a few years now a Panasonic CF-T1 that weighs in at barely 2 lbs (985 grams) and is semi-ruggedized. Aside from panasonic Sony seems to be the only other company that truly can lay any claim to building something resembling an ultra-portable.
I think 'reasonably lightweight' would be a better description
