Ferrari releases, and looking to add another (relatively) run-of-the-mill option to the long standing
Aspire lineup with the 3103 WLCi. While certainly not as potent (or ginormous) as the 20-inch
Aspire 9800, Acer is apparently aiming for the value-conscious crowd with this offering. Sporting a not-exactly-flashy silver and black enclosure, this 64-bit notebook packs a 15.4-inch 1,280 x 800 display, 1.8GHz AMD Sempron 3400+, 512MB of RAM, 5,400RPM 60GB drive, DVD burner, and the ATi Radeon Express 1100 graphics chipset. The conventional array of ports and connectivity options are included as well, such as VGA out, 56k, Ethernet, WiFi, a trio of USB ports, and a 5-in-1 flash card reader, while more savvy add-ons -- Bluetooth and FireWire, for instance -- are (understandably) omitted. The conservatively-styled (and priced) 3103 WLCi should be hitting Japanese streets soon for just under ¥80,000 ($680).

by the way...
my vaio FE series laptop is so freakin heavy, I now hate the 14 - 15 inch laptops!!! must shoot for 11 - 12 inch ones!!!! anyone have suggestions for me?
13" macbook or 12" MSI MS-262 are both excellent machines for the price.
My 14.1" Acer TM2424 weighs 4.8 pounds w/ battery.

As for your need I recommend a panasonic let's note t5, w5, r5, or y5 if you can find them as they are bloody awesome

Acer is a bunch of bastards when it comes to Bluetooth. You can see the two switches that control the BT and wifi radios on the left side forward edge of the case. The BT radio module is about $35 but they won't sell the part - you need to get the laptop preconfigured. Trouble is that most Acer laptop configurations that I've seen don't offer a BT option!
I own a Travelmate 2424 and Acer says they have a BT configuration for it but no reseller has them.
My only option for an internal radio (since they refuse to sell the module to end users) is to solder a USB BT dongle inside to one of the 3 USB ports. I'd lose an external port but would gain internal BT.
