Hello Kitty takes over portable media players
When will the madness of Hello Kitty gadgetry come to an end? We can't take it anymore, seriously. To review, we've seen a cellphone, Xbox, MP3 player, guitar, SD card, laptop, and tailpipe (plus lots more we couldn't find or didn't even post about) in the last two yeare. Our partners in crime over at Engadget Chinese came across the latest sighting of the queen of kawaii: a Hello Kitty mobile DVD player with a 3.5-inch screen and a three hour battery life. This whole package can be yours for 4,000 yuan, or about $500 -- not as cute as we'd thought with a price like that, but really, who can resist that puss? As proven, certainly not us.

Not even my 5-year old niece would touch this. And I consider her the queen of kawaii.
i guess this would sell to collectors...
you bet i wouldn´t buy it! LOL (sure u´d win)
too... much.... pink......
you guys do know that in Asia, girls buy gadgets? Lots of them? This is for them, not you. And as for HC stuff, you have not seen the toaster, the mini-fridge, all sorts of cosmetics and home-furnishing items. You really, really ain't nothing yet.
I work at my local Target here in Australia and we have a whole range of the stuff. MP3 player, stereo, DVD player, radio, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle, a mini water cooler, bed sheets and quilt covers... it just goes on and on. Thing is, no seems to be buying much of it.
