T-Mobile's Sidekick 3 limited editions from LRG and Diane von Furstenberg

Like we'd been hearing, T-Mobile is going all designer label on us with a couple of new Sidekick 3 looks. Last time, with the Sidekick II, they nabbed Juicy Couture and Mr. Cartoon to do the honors, and this time around we've got designs from Lifted Research Group (LRG), which is rocking a baby tree camo motif, and from Diane von Furstenburg which is sporting a "black is the new black" paintjob and some signature hot-pink number keys. Both phones also sport a bit of customized graphics for the phone interface itself, but otherwise the two limited edition Sidekicks remain largely unchanged. What we don't expect to remain unchanged is the price, but T-Mobile isn't saying exactly what yet -- we expect at least a $50 bump. Both phones should be available online and select retail stores on October 30th. Keep reading for the full-size pr0n.

i have a LG shine .. would you be able to transfer the SIM card from that phone to the sidekick?
or do you have to get a plan through T-Mobile .

hi there.
i just have 2 questions. i live in ontario,canada and is there a t-mobile in canada? maybe even toronto,ontario?.my second question is the phone that i have right now is rogers and pay as you go , if i get a t-mobile sidekick ||| (limted-edition) will i have to switch companys and if i do have too can i still have pay as you go? thats all the questions i have for today.please get back to me ASAP that would be super great.

Tmo/danger needs to hit some other designers, or at least some other demographic - I can see these being somewhat poopular, just because of the colors. I have a mr cartoon, but I wanted a black one, anyway.

hi guys, I am a cingular user but I love the sidekick3 the green one. so If I just wanna join sidekick just for the texting, email, surf the web and maybe talk a little with my firends. any plans you guys suggest? I know it's $20 for unlimited internet,email, media per month. also do you guys know if I can use cingular sim card in sidekick3? or just wishful thinking. my friend had a hot pink razor from t-mobile but then had someone change the program into cingular and it works perfectly. any suggestion would help. thanks

I don't know if a Cingular sim card will go into the Sidekick 3 but you should call the company to ask. I actually have a different cell phone company too, but I'm going to break my plan just to get the sidekick lol!

I like the LRG one better. Green's not my favorite color but I definitely wouldn't want the black one. I wish they came out with another Juicy Couture one. Has anyone heard about there being another Juicy one coming out?
