BenQ fleshes out its LCD lineup with 17 and 19-inchers
BenQ is already bursting with LCD display options, but it doesn't look like they're slowing down just yet. Today we've got four more "official" displays to choose from: the FP92W (pictured) and FP222W widescreens we've already spotted, and the new FP73GS and FP93GS 4:3 displays. Both of 'em manage 1280 x 1024 resolutions, 300 nits brightness and 5ms response times. The 17-inch FP73GS has a lovably-skinny 0.47-inch bezel, and a 700:1 contrast ratio, while the FP93GS rocks a 0.51-inch bezel, 19-inch screen and an 800:1 contrast ratio. Not shabby at all, and the $229 and $289 respective price tags aren't horrible either. All four displays should be available any day now.[Via Macworld]

Stop the madness. its killing me. i have to scroll by these and it takes a really long time for me to load the next page (the good ones get knocked off so i spend like 3 seconds waiting). I'm not trying to be mean to the people who want a good if not great deal in displays but i already have one and i think that they should only get posted on the main page if they are like time machines or have colors in them that no one has ever seen b4.

I'd have to agree with the first commenter, you guys really need to stop the posts about insignificant new LCD's. I almost kinda feel sorry for the poor person who ends up having to post these things (Paul, Thomas ect.) I'm sure nothing excites you guys more then blabbering on about conventional response times and contrast ratios. But really, who wouldn't be excited by a "lovably-skinny 0.47-inch bezel".
Cheers, and keep up the great work,
Evan

1280x1024 is not 4:3, its 5:4. Most tvs are 4:3 while most computer monitors are 16:10 or 5:4. 720p (1366x720)tvs are not true 16:9 format while most old widescreen computer monitors are (1280x720) actually are.
