Buffalo's WLI-U2-G144N does 802.11n over USB 2.0
With 802.11n slowly seeping into our homes via rogue laptop cards and routine router upgrades, it might be a good time to look for a desktop 802.11n solution that doesn't involve the sacrifice of a PCI card. Buffalo's new WLI-U2-G144N is just such a thing, grabbing those hefty 802.11n waves and piping 'em into your computer via USB 2.0. No word on when exactly you can you pick one of these off of your local store shelf, or for how much, but at least we know they're on the way.

will it work with the xbox360 is the real question. Since there is nothing currently out there for receiving 802.11n on this console, I'd really love to see something that does.
Well, considering the only USB WiFi adapter that works currently is the official(ly overpriced) MS one than I'd say not a chance.
Unfortunately not, only Windows OS's supported at first. In Europe and the US the part number will be WLI-U2-G300N instead, the 144 is due to Japan not being allowed to use channel bonding.
80211n still fraught with problems and compatibility issues. Also causes to much interference with other 80211 devices. Go with G and a Cantenna for best range and throughput.
This is not a .11n product. .11n does not yet *exist*. This is ".11n DRAFT", and there is no guarantee that this will still be compatible with kit that meets the *actual* .11n spec when it is finalized.
Holy crap it looks good and USB2 too! I just wish it was 802.11n and not draft-n -- otherwise I would go for it. I hate the PCI cards, they're problematic, pain-in-the-butt to install and I only have one PCI slot left, why the hell should I waste it on a buggy hunk of crap anyway?
