That's obviously more than the 8 that Gears of War needs for a complete match, so please keep in mind that some players swapped in and out. In other words, the players that played the longest stood the best chance at ranking highly. Big ups to Joseph for his generous donation to Save Darfur! Good game! Stats after the break.

Looks like you forgot to close italics tags in this entry and it's making the rest of the page italic
Alex @ Dec 24th 2006 5:53PM
LOL!
Engadget is to italics as "hack a day" is to anti-capitol letters.
Lawry Goldstein @ Dec 24th 2006 5:59PM
*sigh* - italics are so last year...
er @ Dec 24th 2006 6:03PM
Yea, i came to post what the others have already said... gotta close that tag whereever it is.
kOa7 @ Dec 24th 2006 7:06PM
Can I click somewhere for the classic unclosed italic flag version?

And he's got the highest number of Revives. What a charitable guy.
Sam @ Dec 24th 2006 9:30PM
Who got the most curb stomps?
Joseph @ Dec 24th 2006 10:37PM
Me and the crew were happy to participate in the charity event and we all had a blast fragging with the Engadget team. Thanks for the great time and I hope all your readers continue to contribute to the good causes you guys promote. Happy holidays to all.
Neologism82 @ Dec 24th 2006 10:58PM
I had a great time playing and am thankful I was able to participate. Best wishes for 2007 and keep on gears'zing

I threatened Engadget that if they didn't let our team win that I would unsubscribe from their RSS. We ended up winning so I guess I can keep the subscription.
Sam: most curb stomps? My goal was to curb stomp Major Nelson as much as possible but I think I ended up getting Ryan a lot more often.
It was a good time since both groups were pretty even. Thanks to Engadget, Major Nelson and Joseph.
