If i've been reading things right the story goes something like this:
a couple years ago, apple's on the up and some internal board allots some stock options to the 'Special Kind of Asshole' When Shteve finds out about it he returns to the company that potential money. Steveo didn't become the ceo by being a well read accountant, so he didn't realise that it might have been a big problem to actually accept the dough, rather a bit of serendipity for him, but the company has to answer for cooking behind the boss's back to the gov. Remember this is the same guy who's company bought him a jet at the same time as taking a 1cent annual salary. not you're regular company for sure.
I'm sure everyone can agree that steve jobs is a special special variety of asshole; even the most diehard, uh fanboi, and the most respectful conscientious objector.
