The amount of apps in the Windows Phone Marketplace
Microsoft's Windows Phone Marketplace has now reported to have passed 25,000 apps by one site tracking comings and goings within it. (source: WindowsPhoneAppslist, July 2011)

The real question is how many PS3s and Wiis were actually AVAILABLE for sale for the stated term. Saying that Sony or Nintendo "only" sold X or Y units is pointless, when the issue was that the demand was initially greater than the supply. This is why the 360 and the PS2 sold so many - because they were AVAILABLE.
Once the availability questions are resolved, THEN you can blindly look at sales figures. Otherwise, you are just lying to yourself.
I am no Sony Fanboy... nor Nintendo, nor MS. All I ask is that people look at the FACTS rather than make judgments based off a flawed study/statistic.
