That's right, we've got 'em -- catalog shots for Sony's
2007 Cybershot line-up of digital cameras. Go ahead, check the new T20HDPR, T100, T20, H9, H7, G1 (pictured), W200, and W90 Cybershots -- you won't be sorry. All the new cams bring Sony's Super SteadyShot image stabilization and HD output to the show in addition to a hot mix of features spread out across the line; these include such notables as 802.11b/g WiFi with
DLNA support, 2GB on-board memory for music playback, a 3-inch tilt-screen LCD, 3.5-inch (yes, 3.5-inch!) LCD, a couple of 15x optical zooms, face-detection technology, and BIONZ image processing -- good to know. Judging by the pics, we can expect a formal, pre-PMA show announcement from Sony on 27 February. Check the gallery below for all the details.

nice
Wow! DSC-H7 and DSC-H9! 15X zoom! Sony bringing back night shoot with the bonus of HD video recording? The super-zoom category is up for some serious challenge! I am hawking my DSC-H2 on ebay today!

folks ... in this photo is shown a new R2 digicam.
why .. because it has the Sonnar lens AND has AV out with sound !!!!!
Are you joking about the R2? If you were - i didn't get the joke. If you are not joking.. please tell more!
I guess the G1 opens and closes? i.e. the pic is in the open state, and you can close it by pushing in the sides?
Holy the crap christmas holiday crackers and or the cookies.
I want the one with ALL thems features. :)
if u notice the pic of the G1 u will see that the graphic lists a 3 inch screen while the features list says " large 3.5 inch xtra fine lcd "
what says bout that ?
i was wondering whether sony were gonna release some cameras soon...
as usual..good things are split into each camera, so not all the good things are on one camera..
Sooooo, it's a camera huh. Just how many lame camera posts have we had in the last two days? It's time for EngadgetMegaPixel.com to come online so we can get these flippin' boring cameras off Engadget.
Yeah, and I'm getting sick of all the gadget posts. What kind of site is this?
Sheesh, people will complain about anything... Thank god they aren't Apple iCameras.
H7 and H9 look fantastic, I can already see H2 owners putting their old cam on Ebay. The G1 is pretty cool looking, will be interesting to see the retail price. Gives the Fuji Z5 some competition if it can match its speed. The 2 GB internal memory is phenomenal.
Still no Alpha news, which is disappointing.
How much do you wanna bet that nearly all of that 15X zoom goes into making the focal length longer...not wider?
2GB internal memory on the G1? Great for consumers, bad for retailers. This guy is not going to sell very well in the brick and mortar stores, because profit margins for the cameras themselves are razor thin if not non-existent. The money comes from accessories.
Wow, Sony improved some things, but many still have the same features (3x zoom).
I think the G1 will be cool. Touch screens don't belong in the T-series, but they improved zoom, but (No Infolithium Anymore?). Looking forward to buying a new cam soon.
Just.
Purchased.
T50.
So.
Pissed.
what does HD mean? where do they say HDMI output?
And to think, i was just about to sink $500 into an H5 and accessories. I wonder what the H7 and H9 will cost?
If they still are using memory sticks then count me out, I dont care how nice any of it is. The on board memory kind of makes up for it, but when a company tries to lock you into a format that they regulate it means they also get to control the prices. for example- 2gb sd cards are going for as low as 10 dollars on some websites while the memory sticks or the umm...duo pro thing is going for 40 dollars.
Can we get a picture what's on the page above the G1 photo? Just a recycled R1, which seems odd, or an R2?
I'm loving the wifi still don't understand why all cameras don't have wifi where you can send flicks to friends as soon as you take them instead of getting out the usb device and being tied to your computer.
woot! its about time for me to invest in a new camera... mine is nearly dead..
I wish the t100 had wifi then that would be the flag-ship
how much is it???
love this thing!
