the idea of a 12+ pound laptop is still iffy to me. what's the point of it being a laptop if it's barely portable when u can pay almost 50% less for a similarly equipped desktop? I guess it would be difficult to cram an 8800-series graphics card in anything smaller, but still... get a desktop. 17-inch laptops, on the other hand, have my full approval. I have an HP dv8000t and it runs great.
