This thing sounds interesting. Obviously it will only appeal to those who are not price sensitive. However, seems to me the biggest weakness is the 1.2g intel processor at that price I'm expecting at least an Intel Duo-processor 2g+. At that price it should also come with 80 - 120 gigs of flash memory hard drive. If GD would add these upgrades I'll buy one for $5,000. Oh, almost forgot it would be logical to add Windows XP professional(I don't like Vista just yet) and Office 2007 professional. When you get up to this hurdle or better GD give me a call.
"I'm a college student looking for a new laptop, but almost all of my media I receive digitally. I'm looking for a laptop, not a netbook, without an optical drive, and budget sensitive. The optical drive will just be a waste of space, when I can have thinner laptop. What's out there?"
