I'm so glad I held out for a MacBook.
It's probably gonna be updated MacBook pro but I'm hoping for a brand new iPod G6 with a 32GB SDD drive.
Sorry man, but a 32GB SDD iPod would likely end up costing around $1,000 right now. Not happening anytime soon.

Oh god, I"m going mad refreshing the Apple Store, Apple Homepage, and MBP page. Apple has me going Macbook crazy.
Uh, seek professional help. You need a tetanus shot for your Macinitus.
This is why they have to take the store down. Because if it wasn't at full capacity you'd crash it. When the macbooks were updated I was trying to figure out if I should get it and they'd taken images off. Fun, but I think I'd pick it up at an apple store if ever I wanted one.

Giving away free Ipods with macbooks is a precursor to a new Ipod. I hope by the end of summer we can see a G6 Ipod. PLEASE SSD 64gb at least and WIDESCREEN.
I don't want a damn phone, I like my Treo, just an Ipod.

What is this, Applegadget.com? Seriously, what is up with the overflow of "OMG IPHONE" and all the rest of this apple stuff? This site is supposed to be about all gadgets, not just biasing to one company, and posting whenever it does one little thing.
Are there any tech blogs left that aren't enamored by Apple and Nintendo? What ever happened to not having bias?

um well i seem to be the only one who has looked at these things fully and i have noticed that apple's hardware page is not being changed but the store is. And has anyone possibly thought of the iPhone. Well, I'm just going to get to the point. i think they are going to start taking preorders for the iphone because the at&t wireless page is also being worked on.
Except it becomes important because they will be releasing new gadgets that nobody can truthfully confirm will be released, it becomes a release announcement on it's own. Engadget should truthfully track this, it benefits many people, starting with shareholders of any computer/gadget related company down to Apple enthusiasts and those who hate Apple trying to compete. If you don't the post just move on...

The next time that Apple is on an analysts call, can someone ask them why they have to take their online store completely down to be able to do a product update? It strikes me that handling a change of product content for an online store is something that you should be able to do without downtime - imagine if all of Amazon's stores around the world had to go down everytime a new product was introduced.
That said, refresh is going in one of my Firefox tabs to see what the new products are ;-)

The fact that the processor speeds are 2.2 and 2.4GHz and the FSB is 800MHz proves this...

Where are the new screens? Where are the newer chips? Where is something substantial to keep up with technology?
It's been at least a year if not longer and besides slight speed upgrades no major change for this product. It's getting old by computer standards.
how did the old specs look like - just for comparison?
Hmmmm was looking at a Sony SZ series, but this is very tempting...
So how to go about triple booting one of these??
I need Ubuntu running on one of these for my work...
